GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's tennis team fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University Sunday at the Barber Park Indoor Tennis Courts 8-1.
After dropping three doubles matches, despite a strong 8-6 battle at the No. 1 spot, Greensboro scored their lone in singles play.
Following doubles play,
Anna Rae Porcelli picked up a win at the No. 1 singles spot by recording two set wins by scores of 6-2 and 6-3.
Despite going to 12 games in each of her two sets,
Matti Moore fell at the No. 3 singles spot by scores of 7-5 and 7-5.
Haley Griffin (No.2),
Hunter Cashion (No. 4), and
Samantha Lopez (No. 5) each recorded at least one game win in each of their respective matches, while
Alexis Chase also played.
