WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's tennis team defeated the Spirits of Salem College Sunday 5-4.
 
Greensboro took a 2-1 lead into singles play after winning at the No. 1 and No.2 spots.
 
In singles action, Anna Rae Porcelli coasted to a straight set victory while Haley Griffin took the opening set of her singles match by a 7-4 tiebreaker before closing out the match with a 6-4 win in Set 2.
 
Lauren Rodriguez also picked up a win at No. 6 singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-2.
