MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Greensboro College wrestling team traveled to Huntingdon College Saturday to take on the host Hawks and the University of the Ozarks.
 
Greensboro fell to Ozarks by a 32-13 score before suffering a narrow 22-20 loss to the host Hawks.
 
In the dual against Ozarks, Greensboro fell behind 8-0 before Paul Bauberger tallied a decision victory to pull the Pride to within five.
 
Ozarks then extended their lead to 14-3 before Conan Wilson tallied a fall victory before Quaevon Cannon recorded a major decision victory to make the score 13-12 in favor of the Pride.
 
However, Ozarks would go on to win the final four bouts to pull away for the victory.
 
After falling in their opener, Greensboro quickly took a 3-0 lead against the host Hawks as Joey Ferigne tallied a decision win at 125-lbs before Huntingdon tallied a decision victory of their own at 133-lbs to tie the dual.
 
Greensboro was then able to pull in front once again as Bauberger recorded a major decision victory to give the Pride a 7-3 lead.
 
Over the remainder of the dual, Greensboro got wins from Wilson, Tyron Dudley, and Carlos Ortega but Huntingdon was able to get a win in the final bout to secure the victory.
