GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback against the Angels of Meredith College Saturday.
 
Anna Rae Porcelli picked up the Pride's lone win of the day at No. 1 singles. With the first set tied at six, Porcelli was able to win the set 7-6, following a 7-4 win in the tiebreaker.
 
Following the Set 1 win, Porcelli put the match away with a 7-5 victory.
 
Rachel Hamilton, Lauren Rodriguez, Samantha Lopez and Hunter Cashion were able to take a game in their respective matches.
 
"Anna Rae's match was a lot of fun for everyone to watch as she battled the whole time," head coach Gus Mota said. "The entire team played extremely hard and this stretch of the season is really tough, but the girls never give up and they grind all the time."
