Women's Lacrosse Remains Unbeaten With Victory Over Muskingum

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Kirstin Norris scored a game-high five goals as the Greensboro College women's lacrosse team moved to 5-0 Wednesday with a 17-2 victory over Muskingum University.
 
Alexa Besch got the Pride on the board one minute into the game before the Muskies tied the game on a goal by Kaeligh Norvet.
 
Greensboro then jumped out to a 3-1 advantage after goals by Besch and Amiria Khatib.
 
MU was able to score one final time before the Pride closed out the game with 13 unanswered goals.
 
"It feels good to be undefeated at this point," Head Coach Christie Hebert said. "We cannot get complacent as we have some of our hardest games upcoming. This team will continue to thrive as long as we work together as a family."
 
Besch finished with four goals, while Natalie Ritchey and Khatib each had three. Devan Macheras and Parks also had one goal.
 
Kaleigh Hemstock picked up the win in goal for Greensboro after recording five saves, while Megan Cenate tallied two saves in 11 minutes of play.
