Ebert, a Pride Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, continues to be hot both at the plate and in the circle. Offensively last week in four games, she went 6-for-13 (.462, in addition to a home run and five RBI. On the year, Ebert ranks 4th on the team with a .354 average, is tied for the team lead with two home runs, and has driven in 20. She also started two games in the circle last week, throwing five shutout innings against Methodist on Saturday, before turning around and delivering a complete game shutout against N.C. Wesleyan on Sunday, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning. All told, her weekly tally read 12 innings pitched, zero runs allowed, 11 strikeouts and a 2-0 record with a complete game. She now sports a 5-3 record with a team-best 2.66 ERA in 52 innings of work.
